Re: What is the percentage criteria of 10th and 12th to appear for UPSC or other civil service examination Well friend upsc conducts several examination every year for the recruitment in different posts and the marks criteria is different for all as: 1.Civil services examination-you should have atleast secured 45% marks in your graduation. 2.CDS EXAM-You should have 60% marks in your graduation. 3.SCRA EXAM-You should have 60% marks in your 12th. 3.NDA exam.-You should have 60% marks in your 12th. If you have completed 12th standard then you are eligible for NDA and SCRA exam. If you have completed graduation degree then you can apply for Civil Service exam, CDS, IES, IFS exams. |

Re: What is the percentage criteria of 10th and 12th to appear for UPSC or other civil service examination UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission and it conducts different examinations at different level for the recruitment in different fields . The most popular examinations conducted by UPSC at the 12th level are :- I) National Defense Academy ( NDA ) examination . II) Special case railway apprentice ( SCRA ) examination . Also the most popular examinations at the Graduation level are as :- I) Combined Defense Services ( CDS ) examination . II) Civil services examination ( CSAT ) . There is no such bar of percentage of marks required for appearing in this examinations at the different level but good marks reflects your image as a serious student which helps you at the time of personal interview .
