Re: Procedure to get admission in B.P.E.D. course? B.P.Ed stands for Bachelor of Physical Education. It is a teacher education course of one year. In this very course handicapped candidates are not allowed as it include very vigerous physical training activity. So, it necessary for the candidates to be physically strong if they wish to pursue for the course. It is mandatory for women candidate to sign an undertaking so that they can discontiue the course in case of pregnancy. To take admission in this course , entrance examinations are being conducted by the universities/ colleges. Eligibility criteria necessary for candidate to apply for entrance test are -Graduate in physical education with minimum of 40% marks. or -Graduate with physical education as a subject with minimum of 45% marks or -Graduate having participated in major sports event either State/National/IntelUniversity games/athletics ..... level. or -For deputed/in service candidate (trained physical education teacher/coaches),Graduate with minimum 40% marks. |

Eligibility for bachelor in physical education The duration of the course is three years You must have done Senior Secondary Certificate (+2) examination from any recognised Indian Board with at least 50 % marks in aggregate in any science group or any other examination with 50 % marks in aggregate equivalent.
