Your doubt is between choosing computer science and biology.

Biology will involve Studying about different plants, animals, insects, birds, microorganisms and like. You will have to learn many scientific names and be good at drawing, as you will have to draw many structures. In the lab experiments you will have to observe cells and other microorganisms under a microscope and draw it and identify different cells and so on.

Computers will involve learning different programming languages and learning microprocessors and their assembly level languages. Mostly languages like c,c++,c#,java etc. The practical will involve using this languages to create programs on a computer. You will have to create algorithms and flowcharts.

Now that I have told you what you can find in each subject. You have to think what will be easy for you. For example I am good with computers. I like using them and also prefer programming over learning complex names of biology and draw. As I am terrible with drawing. That is my personal choice. Now it is up to you to decide on your favourite.

Selection of subjects in 10+2 totally depends upon in which field you want to make your career after 10+2.

For example if you are interested in engineering courses, you subjects combination in 10+2 must include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. If you want to join medical courses like MBBS, BDS etc then subject combination should include Physics, Chemistry and Biology. English is compulsory for both of them.

So there is nothing to be confused or be in dilemma for selection of subjects in 10+2. First make sure the field in which you want to shape your career then subjects selection would be easy.

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, all are easy subjects. One thing with mathematics is that it requires practice to larger extent as compared to biology. You need to give an extra hour if you choose PCM subject group.

Work hard and secure good percentage of marks in 10+2, nowadays percentage criteria plays a vital role in selection to different courses and institutes. Stick to NCERT core books for PCM or PCB subjects for better marks in 10+2 board exams.

For Engineering streams entrance exams are:

>>Joint Entrance exams.

>>State Level engineering entrance exam.

>>BITSAT, SRMEE, VITEEE etc.

Medical entrance exams:

>>All India Pre Medical test.

>>AIIMS entrance exams.

>>State Level medical entrance exams.

>>BHU MBBS entrance exams.

Re: Which is easy PCMC or PCMB?

See, it depends on your interest. There is one thing that you need to understand and that is your own interest.

Handling subjects is different. Till 10th the subjects are easy and thus it is very easy to handle them if you have a disciplined scheduled and you do not divert your mind in many things.

But then as the course will proceed if you don't have interest in any subject you will be running away from that subject and that is very bad for your grades.

Getting marks in subjects is one thing and taking interest is another. Though students tend to show interests in the subjects in which they secure marks, but the most important thing is how your mind behaves when you deal with particular subjects.

Now, if checking the possibilities of different courses-

>> Engineering(most popular after PCM)- In case with PCM, your mind needs to work more intellectually rather then relying on the memory.

>> MBBS(with PCB)-
If you take up biology then initially you have to prepare really hard and if you then get a chance to be apart of any govt. MBBS college then you will lead a sound and a prosperous life.

So, my advise is to understand what are you good at and then decide.

Hi,

Since you belong to the science field and have also dont PCMB, you have a plethora of options to choose from.

1.If you're inclined towards application of sciences, you can look at pursuing engineering.

2.If you're inclined towards biology you could again choose from courses like BDS, MBBS.

3.If there's only one particular subject that you like, like maths, you could do further research in that specific subject/field only by doing a BSc+MSc course in that subject. It would be more of a research oriented course as compared to other courses.

However, if you still cannot decide the course and stream you want to go for, I will suggest you visit a career counsellor who can make things clearer for you.

Hope this helps.Let me know if you have further queries.

Re: Which is easy PCMC or PCMB?

# Neither any subject nor any stream is easy or difficult. Only the dedication, sincerity, hard-work, determination, proper strategy, regular revision etc makes the subjects or stream easy for student.

# You are advised to single-minded rather than double-mind. It is better to concentrate in either mathematics or biology rather than concentrating on both these subjects.

# You should decide it right now about your ultimate aim of life either in engineering line or medical line. In this way, you will be eligible for concentrating better on that concerned subjects.

# If you have potential, capability and ability to hard work, then you may opt Biology along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

# Simultaneous study of Mathematics and Biology will make you eligible for both medical line as well as engineering line just after 10+2.
