Hi dear, There are many option for a biology student and it is not only MBBS but many more like BDS for dental science you can do even pharmacy that is also a boosting career these days and even you can do B.Sc in biophysics, bio-gentic, Bio-technology,Microbiology bio-industrial and other related subjects..you can do B.Sc in it and then go for M.Sc in and then research and job in it.. It is not always matter that the biology should become doctor only there are a lot's and lot's of options are there but you need to decide your field of interest rather than any other criteria's!!! You can choose career in Biotechnology, Nursing, Paramedical courses etc. Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary science based on Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Engineering. It refers to technology developed by modifying biological organisms to improve potency, efficiency, yield or longevity, as relevant. Branches of study in Bio-Technology Veterinary Biotechnology Medical Biotechnology Marine Biotechnology Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology Genetic Engineering Microbiology Nano-Technology You can also go for Genetic engineering which is a highly complicated and advanced branch of science.There is a great scope in this field as the demand for genetic engineers. The Genetic engineering aims to rearrange the sequence of DNA in gene using artificial methods. Genetic engineering have a specialization related to plants,animals and human beings. Thanks |

Re: Best careers after completion of 12th with PCB? First of all its very important for you to choose between science, commerce and arts stream. You have to ask yourself which stream interests you the most. Going for arts stream means you can do your specialization in english, journalism and mass communication, film making courses, political science, sociology, economics, history, geography, economics etc. A course in animation and hotel management after studying arts stream is equally in demand. Going for science stream means you can choose the technical line. Engineering or medical can appear to be a lucrative option for you. Other than that you can do your specialization in physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, electronics, biotechnology, microbiology, nutrition etc. Commerce at the same time can help you choose specialization in accountancy, economics etc. Later you can go onto become a CA or you can opt to sit for the CAT exam and study MBA. Now-a-days after studying commerce many are also opting for BBA or BCA. So you see the opportunities are galore. So you have to choose wisely. Because the quality of future is at stake here. Because in Medical, Biology and Chemistry are the most important subjects. So the career options in front of you are: 1. MBBS 2. BDS 3. Bio Technology 4. Bio-informatics 5. Microbiology 6. Genetics 7. Nano technology 8. Biomedical engineering 9. Nursing 10. B.Sc in any science subject! All the courses that are mentioned above are highly demanding in present and they will also be demanding in future.
