Re: Is BCA a good option for Arts student? # BCA stands for Bachelor in Computer Application. # It is ideal for those students who want to learn computer languages. # It is good alternative for four year B.Tech degree course. # Minimum required educational qualification is 10+2 in any stream from recognised board. # The admission process of BCA course differs from institute/university to institute/university. As it understand from following points: * Some institutes/universities conduct an entrance examination. * Some institutes/universities offer admission on the basis of marks obtained in intermediate. * some institutes/universities conduct only small scale test. # In order to have better career prospects candidate should go for either MCA or MBA just after completion of BCA. # Names of few software companies which offer good salary package to BCA degree holders which are TCS, WIPRO, Infosys, Patni, Tech-Mahendra, Google, etc. |
