You need to score atleast 85% and above for being an eligible candidate to get reward from CBSE Board. There is an age limit too that is you have to be under 19 if you are considering 10 board marks. CBSE one of the most renowned board which runs under the MHRD and has it schools all over India and even in 19 other countries. The scholarship given by the CBSE is known as SGC scholarship. The award is given to only those girl child who are the only child of their parents and performed well in the board examination and scored good marks. The application form are available in the month of last June and July on the CBSE official website www.cbse.nic.in. ( scholarship page ). Other than this many private organisation provide scholarship to the students who performed well but there are certain eligibility for each of them. The government as well as the private organisations make continuous effort so that the economically weak but bright students can get a regular financial assistance and their education is not halted because of the economic factors. It is called the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme. >> The scholarship from the state government. like in Uttar Pradesh, scholarship is given to the economically weak students. you can avail those if you lie in any of that criteria. >>N.E.S.T. scholarships: Science, Medical & Engineering students- An exam is conducted for that. clearing which will only make you eligible for the scheme. Re: Is there any scholarship provided after 10th exam in CBSE board on the basis of good marks No, CBSE does not provide scholarship to either Boys or Girls on the basis of good or very good marks scored in 10th examination. Presently, Bihar board ,UP board and Jharkhand board provide scholrship for girls and boys(Only in Bihar) on the basis of 1st division score in 10th examination. CBSE provide scholarship if the students get good marks in 12th examination. For scholarship after 12th , students need to apply and qualify a scholrship test in which, generally, students above 86 marks are eligible. Then after he/she can get scholarship for his/her studies. |
