Re: How to join Indian Air Force after doing 3rd year B.E in mechanical engineering I am pursuing BE in Mechanical Engineering and in second semester. I want to serve the country by joining the IAF so i wanted to know the eligibility criterion and some more details about it. I checked out many sites on internet but couldn't find anything useful. Kindly do enlighten me sir . |

You must complete your graduation to join defense service. There are two modes of entry in Air Force after completing graduation. 1)CDSE-Combined Defence Service Examination. 2)AFCAT-Air Force Common Admission Test. CDSE allows entry in Flying Branch only as a pilot in air force AFCAT allows entry in all three branches of air force. Your age should be between 19-23 years. Selection Process: Written exam SSB Interview |
