Re: Starting Salary Packages for M.Tech. Biotechnology Pass Outs? Hi This is Priya r. I have done my b.tech from IT stream in 2012 from affiliated college of Anna university. I heard that most of the people entering into IT Sector after completing their degrees and diplomas. And even I am not getting the constant growth after this. I have been working as Tech support engineer only for a short while in the contract companies and non standard companies where is no growth in terms of knowledge and career which I am Interested for. Companies are not ready to train promote us since they are getting a lot of people at low cost. Hence kindly suggest me how about doing M.Tech or M.S in biotechnology from distance education in BITS PILANI UNIVERSITY. And also advice me on the pay scale and growth in the biotech sector. Salary package for any degree holders depends on some factor - In which company or farm they will work. -Post for which they are appointed. -Financial status of company they are recruited. Generally , on average M.tech holders get starting salary of 3-4 lakhs easily but on the basis of skill one can get better salary package. |

Biotechnology Pass Outs? try to get through a good company and if u r selected in a gud biotech company like ranbaxy,cadilla,cipla etc. u will have a better chances to get handsome pay basically avg salary package for m.tech. biotech. is nearly around 3-4 lacs. |

If your interested in it go for it . There are lots of companies like Biocon,Ranbaxy which are hiring great biotech talents and are paying very high. The salary ranges from 4 to 5 Lakhs per annum depending on your college you pass out and your ability. |
