Lateral entry entrance exams are conducted for the process. Pondicherry University, Thapar University, etc conducts lateral entry admission test. A centralized counseling is conducted prior to admissions. You can select your interested course in this session. |

Re: How to get admission in direct 2nd year in civil engineering after passing diploma in mechanical engineering Hello friend Generally diploma candidates can join b.tech 2nd year as lateral entry, for some branches like IT,CSE only they have to choose their computer field only but for mechanical there are choices for choosing other branches like ECE, CIVIL, CHEMICAL engnineering field so in counselling ou can choose civil and join in civil engineering 2nd year all the best........ |
