Re: Can I get MIT Pune after scoring 106 marks in AIEEE? Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune is an engineering college affiliated to the University of Pune, India. It was established by Vishwanath D. Karad.  For getting admission in MIT Pune, Candidate must have passed the HSC (10+2) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with following subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks (40% marks i.e. not less than 120 marks out of 300 marks for reserved category candidates from Maharashtra) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together. Eligibility Criteria for Admission a) For the candidate of Maharashtra State In addition to educational qualification as specified, candidates are required to appear for MHT-CET 2012 and secure nonzero score to be eligible for admission for State Quota (65%) seats through Central Assessment Process (CAP). b) For candidates outside of Maharashtra State In addition to educational qualification as specified, candidates from Maharashtra State as well as outside Maharashtra State are required to appear & qualify in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE-2012) conducted by C.B.S.E., New Delhi for the Academic Year - 2012-13 to be eligible for admission. |
