Re: Can a 12th student of commerce join Indian Navy? It is sorry to say that you cannot go for the Merchant Navy with this qualification. Because for the merchant navy one must have to complete his or her + 2 from the PCM background.I.e. Aspirant must have physics , chemistry and mathematics as a major subject in class 12th. As you have completed your class 12 from the commerce section ,so that is why you cannot go for the merchant navy. |

You need minimum of 55% to be eligible for appear for NDA exam. Since, you have commerce stream, so you are not eligible to join Navy, but yes you can join Army. In case you want study material for NDA(to join army), then check out edu4share.com. There you will get good preparation material. |

So you can't join Navy or Air Force. But in case you change you mind and plan to join Indian Army, then you can join it as you fulfill the criteria.
