NDA stands for National Defence Academy and it's exam is held twice in a year conducted by UPSC and the syllabus is everything you have studied from grade 10 to 12. you can refer to books like Arihant-NDA and R.D. Sharma. www.ssbcrack.com www.navaljourney.com www.joinindianarmy.nic.in www.www.nda.nic.in. you have to spend 3 years in NDA and then 1 year in IMA. all the best,.... |

The eligibility criteria for NDA is :- Candidate must have passed 12th class for apply Army wing. For Air Force and Navy wing -Candidate must have pass 12th class with PCM subjects from a recognized Board. Age limit:- The age limit is 16.5 to 19 years. No age relaxation. Nationality - Candidate should be a citizen of India. Physical Fitness: Candidates must be physically fit according to the prescribed physical standards. Re: Eligibility criteria and examination pattern of NDA entrance examination NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to three wings of NDA:- INDIAN ARMY INDIAN NAVY INDIAN AIR FORCE The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam in any stream from a recognised Central/State Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good physical fitness. The candidate having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th can apply for all three wings of NDA but those candidate without having above subjects can only be eligible to apply for Indian Army wing of NDA. There are certain prescribed Physical Fitness criteria to overcome by the aspiring candidate after succeeding written exam. Re: Eligibility criteria and examination pattern of NDA entrance examination  NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY This examination is conducted by UPSC (UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION)..This Academy consists of three wings of joint training: army, navy and air force EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS- you must have 12th degree from a recognized board.Those who had taken Physics & Mathematics in Class 12th can apply for navy and air force. AGE LIMIT- 16.5-19 YEARS. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT- Any candidate whose height is not within157.5cms to 162.5cms cannot apply for Air Force wing. Candidates whose chest is less than 81cms cannot apply. So I am providing details regarding NDA II 2011. About NDA: National Defence Academy is the premier training academy for the candidates who want to join the defence forces of India.Only able candidates are Handpicked for the service. NDA passouts join as an officer in the permanent commission. Eligibility Details: Only unmarried male candidates can apply for the exam. Age Limit: Candidates born between 2nd July, 1993 and 1st January, 1996 are eligible and can apply. Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any field.
