Re: Can I join MCA in regular after completing 12th with Maths? My friend of course you can join MCA through regular mode. There is no rule which says that you have to complete Master of Computer Applications through distance education. You are free to do MCA through regular mode. Since you had Maths in 12th, there will be no issue while taking admission for MCA. If you took a gap between 12th and BCA, then it could create problem when applying for the job. Most big IT firms don't accept candidates with more than 2 years gap. Therefore if you had gap of up to two years then its fine, otherwise you may find it difficult to get job in big MNC. However in that case there will be plenty of SME that would be able to offer job to you. Master of Computer Applications is the course related to: Programming Languages Application Software Networking System Management Hardware Technology MCA Eligibility 1. Must have completed graduation in any stream. 2. At least 50 percent marks in graduation. 3. Maths should be one of the subjects in 12th or college. But with this insufficient data we can only say that you are not eligible for the MCA.If you are not passing the 12th and the BCA.
