For GATE exam you should study according to your syllabus from your engineering text books from 1st semester to 5th semester, from this only they ask questons.
Try to solve the previous year question papers(GATE question bank) which are available in the book market.
For best preparation you can join any GATE coaching institutes like VANI,GATEFORUM,BRILLIANT etc.,.Most of the toppers every year came from these institutes.
Anyway you should study 2-3hours per day then only you can get highest marks in this exam.

You can collect all the study material of GATE from many coaching institutes. The study materials are useful for the students as it will be created by the experts of the institutes.
You can also download the study materials from the internet from many websites.

there are two types of material which i know..

one is hardcopies of books ...

its bit costly but good for your eyes and health..

you can get them by ordering online or buying in book markets ..now a days in metropolitens GATE exam is very familiar..

to depend on ebooks..

there are many many free downloading sites for materials and ebooks like you..

You should be specific about what you are asking. When you want study material for GATE you must clearly mention which subject's study material you want? In this way its not possible to provide you the study material.
