Re: Can I join in the field of Navy after completing SYB.Com The qualification required to apply for for Indian Naval Academy is Bachelor of Engineering . So, as per your stream of qualification ,you are ineligible to apply for the for Indian Naval Academy . But, you can join defense services through other wings of Indian Army .According to your qualification , you are eligible to join Indian Military Academy and Officer's Training Academy . CDS(Combined Defense Services) exam is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year which makes recruitment in the following wings of Defense services: - Indian Military Academy - Naval Academy - Air Force Academy - Officer's Training Academy The eligibility criteria required for CDS exam are as under :- -The candidate must be an Indian citizen . -The candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in any stream for Indian Military Academy/Officer's Training Academy,Bachelor of Engineering for Indian Naval Academy and 10+2 level degree with Physics and Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering for Indian Air Force Academy. -The candidate age limit to apply for Indian Military Academy- 19 years to 24 years Indian Naval Academy-19 years to 22 years Indian Air Force Academy-19 years to 23 years Officer's Training Academy-19 years to 25 years . -The CDS exam is conducted in two stages: *Written Exam *Interview by Services Selection Board. |

Re: Can I join in the field of Navy after completing SYB.Com No, you are not eligible to join the Indian Navy after pursing the S.Y B.com. But you are eligible to join the Indian Army. The examination to qualify in the Indian Army is through the CDS examination. The examination is conducted by the CDS every year. The eligibility to appear for the examination is :- * Candidate must have passed the graduation any discipline. * Candidate age must be between 19-24 years. So you are eligible for the Indian Army but for the Indian Navy the required qualification is graduation in the Bachelor of Technology, Physics or Mathematics. The examination is conducted in the two stages and the candidate need to qualify in both the stages for the final selection in the defense services as an officer. Re: Can I join in the field of Navy after completing SYB.Com You have to comes under the following educational qualification for the Navy wing if you comes under that then can join the Navy and that eligibility criteria is- >> Candidate should passed 12th in any stream. >> Candidate should be Indian and also a subject of Nepal or Bhutan can also apply if migrated to India since 1962. >> Tibetan refugee comes in India before January 1962 can also apply >> Only unmarried male candidates can apply. >> For Army any candidate passed 12th in any stream can apply >> Candidate should be physical fit and having eye side 6/6. >> For Air Force and Naval force only the candidate passed in 12th with Math and physics can apply and age to be in 16.5-19 years. Exam pattern -: The exam is taken in Preliminary and Mains exam. Pre exam is conducted in-: Mathematics General ability Mains exam_: English General knowledge. After passing the written exam Interview is hold on by govt. And selected candidates are called for the training. |

You should have passed 12th standard or graduation in science stream from a recognized university to join Indian Navy. Following are exam to join Indian navy: NDA (National Defense Academy) CDS (Combined Defense Services) After 12th standard with Physics and Math, you can apply NDA exam to join Navy. After graduation in Science stream, you can apply CDS exam to join Navy. Selection Process of NDA as well as CDS exam: Written exam of general ability, English and Mathematics SSB Interview Physical and Medical Test |
