You can work in - Automobile company - Agriculture sector - Shipping industry - Aviation company - Thermal industry - Other manufacturing industry - Education sector You can get jobs in top recruiting company such as reliance industry , siemens , BEL , L & T , Essar , BHEL etc. You can also apply for competitive exams such as banking , Railway , IES , defence exams etc. You can also continue your education in M.tech in mechanical engineering & P.hD in any specialization & can enter in teaching field or research sectors. |

Their charm is everlasting. You just cannot question the credibility and the performance. With these branches, you are bound to get great jobs in you career. You are eligible for both the government as well as for the private sector. nearly all government companies like - BHEL - SAIL - HPCL - ONGC - NTPC - NHPC - BARC - Railways - SSC recruit mechanical engineers. Advantages doing M.tech after Btech for mechanical engineers ... **) You will gain lot of knowledge in mechanical field because in btech only 60% is covered the knowledge of mechanical ... * *) Now a days most of the core companies requires the GATE score during placements .. * )mechanical engineers have the better scope in both *PRIVATE AND GOVERNMENT SECTORS .. for that you need only mtech or gate score... Here are the companies accepting gate score :- these are all the top mechanical core companies *) TATA motors *) BMW works *) Ashok Leyland *) Hindustan *) IOCL *) Mahindra ... etc..are there .. If you need highest packages , then you must complete master degree after graduation degree.. |

IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service examination. If you have completed bachelor engineering degree course then you are eligible to apply for IES Examination but your written exam subjects are -CIVIL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING. You can choose any one subject from above mentioned subject. M.Sc Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering are also eligible for IES Exam. Final year student are also eligible for IES exam. The applicant age should be in between 21 to 30 years.
