Re: Important dates of UPSC 2016 examination The calendar for UPSC exams to be conducted in the year 2016 is not yet available on the official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in. You must visit the website at frequent intervals and click on the examination link to see whether calendar for 2016 is uploaded or not. For Civil Services exam as per previous year trends, notification is out in month of May. Preliminary exam is conducted in August. |

UPSC is the examination conducting council of India which conducts examinations like: >>Civil Service Examination. >>Combined Defense Services exam. >>Central Police Force services examination. >>Indian Forest Services exam. >>NDA/NA entrance exam etc. You are interested in Indian Police Services. For this you have to appear for the Civil Services examination. The notification for Civil Services examination is released in last week of month of May every year. So you can expect the notification of 2016 Civil Services exam in last week of May. Preliminary examination is generally held in last week of August every year. Mains examination in December of that year. For any updates for 2016 exam, you can visit the official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in and click on examination link for the examination calendar. |

Re: Important dates of UPSC 2016 examination UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission and it is a commission responsible for conducting different examinations for the Central government jobs in different fields. The examinations calender for the UPSC 2016 examinations has not been disclosed yet but being final year student of a bachelor degree course you are eligible for all those examinations for which you are eligible after completing your bachelor degree course next year. Since you are an arts stream student so you not eligible for Railway jobs, Indian Navy or Indian Air force jobs, I.E.S. etc. as for this only Science stream students are eligible. Basically you are eligible for Civil Services examination and CDS examination ( for Indian Military Academy & Officer's Training Academy ) with your educational qualification but for the CS examinations the last date of application has passed away so you can give only the CDS examination this year and for which the last date of applying is 14.08.2015. For details regarding the above examination and key dates for upcoming examinations held by UPSC you must visit the official website of same i.e; www.upsc.gov.in. |

Re: Important dates of UPSC 2016 examination UPSC is the acronym for Union Public Service Commission. This commission conducts so many examination at the national level. For Indian Police Service, it conducts Civil Service examination. UPSC has not released the examination calendar for year 2016 yet. You can keep visiting the official website for further updates. |

List of some of the most famous examination conducted by the UPSC are :- * Civil Services Examination. * National Defence Academy. * Combined Defence Services. The calendar for the UPSC 2016 examination is not available upto the date. So you have to wait for the calendar but you must start the preparation according to the syllabus for the examination.
