I have done mechanical engg with 50% marks. I have 3 drops in my engineering. So can I apply to any gov. engineering exam in maharashtra?

Government Jobs For a B.E Mechanical Graduate

Hello Attul

There are Many Job Scopes for a B.Tech Mechanical Graduate. Many Sectors have Minimum Qualifications as a B.Tech/B.Ed Degree or a Graduate from any of the Discipline.

A Mechanical Engineer can Go for any of the Following Jobs:

UPSC
Indian Forest Services
The State Service Commission
Indian Railways
Public Sector Banks
Post and Telegraphs
PWD
Chemical firms
Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, etc

Also, B.Tech Mechanical Graduates have many job profiles in the public sector like :

♫ Assistant Engineers
♫ Lab Assistant Gr. III (Mechanical)
♫ Assistant Executive Engineers
♫ Junior Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (Diesel/ Mechanical)
♫ Superintendent Engineers

Some of the PSU’s (Public Sector Undertaking's) that demand mechanical engineers are:

► SAIL

NOTE: If A Person is Good at Teaching and Wants to continue as a Professor or a Leccturer in any Graduate Schools, Then You can apply for lecturer post on a permanent basis in any of the government colleges, Once You qualify the NET Exam.
