As far I know as on date, there is no restriction of number of attempt and upper age in UPCPMT. So far as AIPMT is concerned, Minimum age for appearing in the exam is 17 years and upper age is 25 years. There is no restriction on number of attempts between 17 and 25 years of age. Good Day.

Since your question is centered around the number of attempts only, so i wn't be dealing with rest of the eligibility details and will focus the discussion to that itself.

regarding the number of attempts is considered in the All India Pre Medical Test, so it is 3 only.
Irrespective of the candidate, this limit is uniform for all.

AIPMT 2016 and UPMT 2016 Number of Attempts:

AIPMT (All India Pre Medical or Pre Dental Entrance Test) Examination is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission into BDS and MBBC course. As far as new pattern or rules are concerned, AIPMT 2016 Attempts are remain unchanged. So as usual, the number of attempts allowed for AIPMT Examination is 3 times. The same rule is applicable to UPMT Entrance Examination also. So candidates can attempt AIPMT and UPMT Entrance Examinations maximum of 3 times only.Maximum Number of Attempts of AIPMT & UPMT 2016 Exam - 3 times
