Re: Information about CPT-2011 examination to be held in June? Hi dear, FOr your information: Online CPT exam will be held on JUNE 2011... Date has not been declared yet.. Dates for the online CPT exam have need annunced as of yet. However, dates for the exam in paper in pencil mode is 19th June 2011. You can fill up the CPT 2011 examination application form online at http://icaiexam.icai.org from 4th April, 2011 (10:00 hrs) to 25th April, 2011 (17:30hrs) and remit the fee online by using credit card, either VISA or Master Card. You can also obtain the form from the following address: Additional Secretary (Examinations), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110 002. The cost of form is Rs. 600/- (Rs.500/- towards examination fee and Rs. 100/- towards cost of CA CPT Exam 2011 application form and CPT June 2011 Information brochure). Thanks |

Re: Information about CPT-2011 examination to be held in June? Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is an entry Stage test for Chartered Accountancy Course. A candidate shall be eligible to appear in Common Proficiency Test June 2011 to be held on 19th June 2011,if he has : Either passed the 10+2 exam or its equivalent or must have appeared in the 10+2 exam or its equivalent of recognized board. 2.Registered for CPT course with Board f Studies of ICAI on or before 1st April 2011 * A candidate who is already registered for Professsional Education-1 Course with Board of studies of ICAI & switched over to CPT course on or before 1st April 2011 will also be eligible to appear in June CPT 2011. |

Last Date for submission application form for CA-CPA examination for June Examination : 25th April for December Examination : 27th October the date of examination paper pencil mode 5th June, 2011 4th December, 2011 Cost of examination application Form For an examination center within India - Rs. 100. For overseas examination center - $10. Examination Fee (including application form) For an examination center within India - Rs. 600. For Kathmandu centre - Rs.950 For other overseas examination centers - $160. late fine is not applicable. Medium for writing the examinations Examinations can be written either in ENGLISH or HINDI medium. Online examinations can be written only in ENGLISH A student has to mention the preference of medium at the time of making the application for examination. In the absence of clear indication of preference, English will be taken as the preferred medium. The option to answer papers in HINDI should be exercised in total. Paper wise option is not available. The papers of a candidate who has not opted to write his answer papers in Hindi and answers them in Hindi, would not be valued. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a student can make at the CA CPT examination. beside online application student may apply offline. in that case they have to submit the fees and form by post. here is the details. Submit by Post Alternatively students may take a demand draft for the prescribed amount in favour of Secretary, ICAI payable at New Delhi and submit a letter on white paper indicating their name, address, mobile number, registration number and specify the exam and group in which they intend to appear duly verified by his Principal or any other Chartered Accountant. The students has to submit all these by speed post/registered post to Shri G. Somasekhar, Additional Secretary (Exam), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI BHAWAN, I P Marg, New Delhi – 110002 before the cut off dates. Thanks |

CPT exam conducts twice a year..in the month of THE exam pattern consists of 4 hours of two papers and each of 2 hours.. Syllabus session I Section A consists of Fundamental of Accounting of 60 marks Section B consists of Mercentalie Law of 40 marks. session II Section A consists of General Economics of 50 marks Section B consists of Quantitative of 50 marks. you need to get at least 55% in overall session and 30% in each subject......to crack cpt.. |
