Re: How can I become a custom officer after passing 12th in commerce You can not go for the custom officer just after your+2.For this you must have to complete your graduation first. For this you have to appear in the IRS examination. Indian revenue service examination is conducted by the Upsc every year.The basic eligibility criteria for this exam is to have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university with good percentile. Also the aspirant's age must lie in between 21 year to 30 years.There is age relaxation by 3 years for the Obc category students, and it is by 5 years for the Sc/St/Pd category aspirants. |

Re: How can I become a custom officer after passing 12th in commerce Re: How can I become a custom officer after passing 12th in commerce Yes you can do First of all you can wait for UPSC IRS notification UPSC conduct this exam every year last month Eligibility criteria for IRS:- You can complete your graduation with 60% You must be a Indian Citizen Age limit : 20-28 yrs Age relaxation : G- 3 yrs, ST/SC - 5 yrs So you can apply this exam you can work hard because this exam very tough All the best |

IRS(Indian Revenue Service)entrance exam is conducted by UPSC every year. Minimum a Graduate from the recognized University can write IRS entrance exam. Age:General:21-32 years, OBC: 21-35 years, S/C S/T:21-37 years. Must be the citizen of India. Attempts:General: 6 attempts, OBC: 8 attempts, S/C S/T: No limit. Finally you are to clear CSAT(Civil Services Aptitude Test) Mains exam, and Interview. So you are to complete your Graduate degree to become a custom officer. |

Re: How can I become a custom officer after passing 12th in commerce First of All You Must Complete your Graduation or equivalent Degree. After that you have to Pass CSAT(Aptitude Test). after that you have to continue with respected fields training. like IPS, IAS, IRS, IFS and other civilian services. |
