Re: Is it possible to sit for JEE 2016 after clearing improvement exam in 2015? Since you have given the improvement in the 2015 that means you have passed the 10+2 in the year 2014. So you are not eligiblie to appear for the JEE Advance to get the admission in IIT. JEE stands for the Joint Entrance Examination and it is conducted every year by the CBSE for the admission of the candidates in the B.tech/B.E courses in the IIT, NIT etc.... The eligibility to appear for the examination is candidates must have passed the 10+2 from the recognised board even the appearing candidates are also eligible. Candidates must have the PCM as main paper in the board examination. The maximum number of attempts to appear for the examination is three for the Mains and two for the Advance if you qualify in the Mains. So you are only eligible to appear for the Mains in the 2016. To get the more information about the syllabus and the examination notifications visit at the www.cbse.nic.in. |
