As for IAS,Age limit- 21-30 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC) Number of permissible attempts: 4 (7 attempts for OBC and no limit for SC/ST) |

First you have to complete your 12th in any stream according to your wish.... then you have to complete your graduation in any field from a recognized university. Because to become an IAS you should have completed your graduation first in any stream from any recognized university....that is the only educational criteria....then take a look at the following things. 1. Your age should be between 21 years and 30 years when you will apply [33 years for SC/ST] 2. You should have good knowledge in current affairs and social issues. There are no restrictions on the same as long as you pursue it from a recognised institute. You also need to start preparing for the exam now for the general awareness section. For that you must make it a point to read the newspaper daily. |
