Re: Eligibility and dates for BSNL JTO exam? well buddy, JTO( junior telecom officer) exam will be conducted by BSNL * note: the JTO exam will not be conducted every year. * it is last conducted in 2010...so it is well expected to be conducted in 2012 The eligibility criteria is as follow: Age Limit: GEN: upper age limit 30 years OBC: 3 year relaxation SC/ST: 5 year relaxation Educational Qualification: A B.E./B.Tech. degree in Telecommunication, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical, Information Technology for Telecom section B.E./B.Tech. degree in Civil Engineering for JTO-Civil section. B.E./B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering for JTO-Electrical section. Candidates who are in final year of B.E./B.Tech. are also eligible to apply provided that they complete their graduation by December of the year. Your age is very critical for JTO exam. During the last JTO exam there was no any clause for minimum age but according to UPSC rules one should be minimum 21 years old for joining in these jobs. Information Technology Candidates appearing in the final year degree examination may also apply provided they possess the required educational qualification by 31.12.2009. 2.2.> For JTO(Civil):- Applicant must possess as on 31.12.2009, Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/University. (vii) For Residents of J&K – Relaxation shall be in accordance with DoP&T’s Notification No.15012/7/1991-Estt.(D) dtd. 7.12.2007 pertaining to “Residents of State of Jammu and Kashmir (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit for Recruitment to Central Civil Services & Posts) Rules 1997”. 4.> Further in respect of apprentices who have undergone apprentice training in BSNL successfully, there will be following provision:- (a) An apprentice will be required to compete in the common competitive examination conducted by BSNL along with other direct candidates and preference to the apprentices over non-apprentices direct candidates will be given only if apprentices secures equal place in merit in select zone and all other eligibility conditions being equal. (b) The apprentices would not be required to get her/his name sponsored by any employment exchange. (c) The apprentices would be entitled to age relaxation to the extent of the period for which the apprentice had undergone training as apprentice in the BSNL. best of luck. |

Hi dear, A brief account of BSNL JTO 2011 BSNL JTO, is divided into 3 groups:- BSNL JTO (Telecom): Candidates having successfully completed B.E./B.Tech in any of the followings:- Electronics Telecommunication Radio Computer Information Technology Electrical are eligible to apply under 'Telecom' section. BSNL JTO (Civil): Candidates having successfully completed B.E./B.Tech in Civil engineering are eligible to apply under 'Civil' section. BSNL JTO (Electrical): Candidates having successfully completed B.E./B.Tech Electrical engineering are eligible to apply under 'Electrical' section. Dates: Be ready notification are subjected to be announced soon. In both 2009 and 2010 notification were released in February, and entrance was held on May. But the whole process end till september. Re: Eligibility and dates for BSNL JTO exam? hi The JTO exam for 2011 is expected to be held by end MAY or early JUNE.the notification for JTO exam is not yet out but is due to be announce this month end. about the eligibility for JTO you need to have finish your Bachelors in Engineering from any of the reputed university.JTO has telecom, civil and electrical stream so you can accordingly choose your stream which may be easy for you.the syllabus is related to your university syllabus. so referring the book from college is good enough but can also get JTO books from the market. you need to clear in your basics to get it cleared. regards! |
