Re: What to do after 12th to join Indian Air Force? After 12th one can join Indian Air Force through NDA exam on the condition he fulfills following eligibility criteria :- -The candidate must be a citizen of India. -The age limit for the candidate is 16.5 years to 19 years. -Only unmarried male candidate can apply for the exam. -The qualification required to join Indian Air Force Academy through NDA is 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics . -The selection process involves of *Written Examination * Personal Interview by Service Selection Board One can join Indian Air Force through AFCAT exam for any of the following three branches : Technical Branch, Ground duty branch and Flying branch . The eligibility criteria required for AFCAT are as under :- Age limit : For Technical Branch: 18 - 28 years For Ground duty branch : 20 - 23 years For Flying branch : 19 - 23 years . Educational Qualification : For Technical Branch: Bachelor of Engineering . For Ground duty branch : Graduation in any stream . For Flying branch :Graduation in any discipline along with 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics . |

You can not join Indian Airforce after 10+2 through the NDA entrance exam because for the Indian Airforce, a candidate must have studied Physics and mathematics at the 10+2 level. So, there is no chance for you to join Indian Airforce. You can apply for the NDA entrance exam if your age is between 16.5-19.5 years but you will be only able to join Indian Army even if you clear the written test and SSB. |

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. |

Re: What to do after 12th to join Indian Air Force? AS you are commerce you can not appear NDA exam which is conducted through UPSC twice in a year . Only Science background student are eligible for NDA exams. You can appear AFCAT exam which is held every year to join AIR FORCE , The graduate can apply for this exam. |
