Re: Procedure to join CBI? To become a CBI you need to go through a Combined Graduate Level Examination of Staff Selection Commission conducted by Government of India. Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent. Age Should be Between 20-25 years examination consist of 4 stages and you need to clear all. Selection Procedure : -Selection based on Written Test, - Personal Interview and -According to Rule and Regulation of the Govt of India. Plan of the Examination: Part I Written Examination carrying: 400 marks Part II Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks. Examination Subjects: (Paper No. Subject Questions Max. To join in CBI you need to write the CGPE EXAM conducted by UPSC...!! and minimum qualification for that is to be Graduate.. for that you need to have good physical strength also like any armed force.. |

Re: Procedure to join CBI? hello friend see, to join as a CBI officer, firstly you have to do graduate. as minimum qualification graduation is require to attain in the UPSC-CBI exam. and minimum 60% marks in graduation is require to attain in the UPSC-CBI exam. age limit for UPSC exam is 21-29 years. for more information check-www.upsc.gov.in all the best........... |

Re: Procedure to join CBI? Hi, To join CBI you must have to appear in its entrance exam conducted by SSC. Eligibility to join CBI is, candidate must have bachelors degree from a recognised university. CBI recruits Sub-inspectors through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), which publishes its recruitment notice in Employment News and other leading dailies. CBI also inducts officers in the ranks of Inspector of Police and above from the State and Union Territory Police forces on deputation. Non-police officers are also taken on deputation in CBI. The age criteria is 20 years wheras, the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. Educational Qualification :- You must be Graduation courses in Criminology For making Yourself Eligible For CBI. For Graduation in Criminology in Different University in India you must be 12th passed. Syllabus: The syllabus for a course in Criminology usually includes - Principles of Criminology, Psychology of Crime, Criminal Law, Police Administration, Forensic Science and Medicine, Juvenile Delinquency, Correctional Management and Rehabilitation of Criminals etc. Exam :- You need to Go for CGPE which is an UPSC Exam. Re: Procedure to join CBI? Hi To join in CBI you must write an exam called Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination(CGPE). After you are shortlisted from the exam you will be called for an interview. If you are selected from the interview you can join in CBI. |
