Dear Aspirant

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation.

To become CBI officer you will have to attend CGPE{Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam} test conducted SSC{Staff Selection Commission} of India every year.

There are following post in CBI:
  1. Senior Public Prosecutor (SPP).
  2. Sub-Inspector
  3. Assistant Public Prosecutor


Eligibility condition for CBI exam:
-----------------------------------

  • You should have completed bachelors degree in any strem from a recognized Institute/University.
  • Final year students are not allowed to appear for the exam
  • Your age must be between 21 to 27 years (relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC in upper age limit).



Application procedure for CBI exam:

To become a CBI you need to go through a Combined Graduate Level Examination of Staff Selection Commission conducted by Government of India.

Education Qualification:
Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent.
Age Should be Between 20-25 years

examination consist of 4 stages and you need to clear all.

Selection Procedure :
-Selection based on Written Test,
- Personal Interview and
-According to Rule and Regulation of the Govt of India.

Plan of the Examination:
Part I

Written Examination carrying: 400 marks

Part II

Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks.

Examination Subjects:

Crime Branch CBI (Central bureau of Investigation) is a specialized wing in many state police forces in India of their Criminal Investigation Department .

Other branches of the CBI are
  • State Crime Investigation Bureau
  • Finger Print Bureau
  • and Scientific Section.


To join in CBI you need to write the CGPE EXAM conducted by UPSC...!!
and minimum qualification for that is to be Graduate..

for that you need to have good physical strength also like any armed force..

CGPE exam conducted by SSC
Civil service Exam conducted by UPSC

hello friend

see, to join as a CBI officer, firstly you have to do graduate.

as minimum qualification graduation is require to attain in the UPSC-CBI exam.

and minimum 60% marks in graduation is require to attain in the UPSC-CBI exam.

age limit for UPSC exam is 21-29 years.

Hi,

To join CBI you must have to appear in its entrance exam conducted by SSC.

Eligibility to join CBI is, candidate must have bachelors degree from a recognised university.

CBI recruits Sub-inspectors through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), which publishes its recruitment notice in Employment News and other leading dailies.

CBI also inducts officers in the ranks of Inspector of Police and above from the State and Union Territory Police forces on deputation. Non-police officers are also taken on deputation in CBI.

The age criteria is 20 years wheras, the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification :-

You must be Graduation courses in Criminology For making Yourself Eligible For CBI.

For Graduation in Criminology in Different University in India you must be 12th passed.

Syllabus: The syllabus for a course in Criminology usually includes - Principles of Criminology, Psychology of Crime, Criminal Law, Police Administration, Forensic Science and Medicine, Juvenile Delinquency, Correctional Management and Rehabilitation of Criminals etc.

Exam :- You need to Go for CGPE which is an UPSC Exam.

this entrance exam is conducted every year by SSC

and the eligibility criteria for the CBI exam is that one has to be a graduate from any stream but from a recognized university .....

Hi

To join in CBI you must write an exam called

Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination(CGPE). After you are shortlisted from

the exam you will be called for an interview. If you are selected from the

interview you can join in CBI.
