The minimum pay is Rs. 42,800. – Assistant Professor: At least 3 years industry/research/teaching experience excluding, however, the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. The pay scale is Rs. 15,600 - Rs. 39,100 with a grade pay of Rs. 8000 |

The college of institute in which you are teaching. 3. Your knowledge and personal skills. Initially as a fresher the salary for the Assistant Professor is around Rs 30,000-Rs 40000 in private institute but with the experience it increases and may reach upto one lac per month. Government professors have salary in the range of Rs 50,000-Rs 60,000. |
