The do not as a permanent fact the cut off marks procedure for all the category are different from year to year. All you have to do is getting a 55% marks for getting admission into top most colleges.. |

I tell you for SC candidates or any other category candidates the marks is not required same in every year .The cut off marks are change according to the notification of exam. So you shoul have to do better preparation that you must obtained above 60% marks to getting admission in top colleges. The question is also very differ from ECE branch ,it does not same in every year exam .You should have to study of these subjects like communications system ,Network Analysis , Digital electronics. |

Re: Marks required to qualify GATE entrance entrance exam for SC students? GATE is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is the entrance examination for the Master of technology course. This exam is conducted every year by IIT or IISC for post graduate course in technology. GATE 2016 is conducted by the IISC, Bangalore. Candidates who have done bachelor's degree in technology, engineering or master's degree in science, computer applications can apply for the exam. The qualifying marks for the GATE exam changes every year. It is not fixed. It is different for different category candidates. Being a SC candidate if you score between 20-25 marks out of 100 marks, you can easily qualify this exam but only qualifying marks will not fetch you anything, so try to score marks more than 60 for better college like IITs. The second advantage of scoring high marks is that, you will receive call letters from PSUs if your marks are more than their cut off. The simple answer to how to prepare for the GATE exam is that, try to practice objective theoretical, conceptual and numerical questions of different subjects of your stream of engineering. Practice is the only key to get good marks. Develop crystal clear concepts of each subjects of engineering The marks distribution and number of questions is not fixed and it changes from year to year. For ECE candidates, you must focus on subjects like Network Analysis, EMFT, Communication systems, Analog systems, Digital electronics, Microcontrollers etc. |
