B.E. stands for the bachelor in engineering. The mechanical engineering is a branch of this course.

It is necessary to have successfully passed out class 12th course from a good and recognized board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.


You can appear in the entrance exam like Jee Mains Jee advanced BITSAT etc.The percentages required for these entrance exam are 50% , 60%, 80% respectively in the+2 aggregate.

The minimum percentage required for B.E. in mechanical Engineering is 55% in 12th standard for General and OBC Category.

If you belongs to SC category then the minimum percentage required in 12th standard is 45% to 50% .

To get Admission in Top Engineering College then the minimum percentage required is 60% .
