Re: Can I do BE in Mechanical after graduation? Yes definitely you can apply for B.E in mechanical after completing diploma in polytechnic. After completing diploma you can prepare for lateral entry exam then you can take direct entry in 2nd year admission in B.E. You must have minimum 60% marks in graduation so you are eligible . You should have to appear entrance exam like:- LEET IPUCET State CET |

Re: Can I do BE in Mechanical after graduation? Yes, you can do bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering after completion of diploma in mechanical engineering. There are two options for you either to appear for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or Joint Entrance Exam Main for pursuing this course. LEET exam is conducted by various state technical universities which gives diploma candidate chance to get admission directly in second year of engineering. For LEET, a candidate must have 60% marks in diploma. |

Candidates with Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the Board of Technical Education recognized by the Department of Technical Education, Government of India will be considered for admission to the B.Tech course through Lateral Entry Scheme.
