MBA stands for Masters in Business Administration.
It is a 2 year postgraduate program.
Any candidate having Bachelor degree in any disciple can apply for MBA entrance examination.
The various national level entrance examination for admission in MBA are
-Common Admission Test(CAT)
-Management Aptitude Test(MAT)

All other private universities conduct their own entrance examination for admission in MBA.
CAT is the best and toughest entrance examination to get admission in the best MBA colleges of India Indian Institute of Management(IIM).
CAT and MAT scores are also accepted by private universities and Business schools for admission in MBA.

IIM is the best MBA college of India for all branches of Management except Rural Management and its branches.
IIRMA is the best rural management of India which also accepts admission on the basis of CAT score.

GMAT is the only International level entrance examination for admission in colleges all over the world.
GMAT score is valid in 21000 institutions for admission in management related courses.

If you wish to get good jobs after pursuing MBA, then you will have to surely study in the decent MBA colleges.

To get admission into these MBA colleges, you will have to pass their entrance exams like:

CAT - COMMON ADMISSION TEST conducted by IIM(Indian Institute of Management)
MAT - MANAGEMENT APTITUDE TEST conducted by AIMA(All India Management Association)
XAT - XAVIERS APTITUDE TEST
IRMA - INSTITUTE OF RURAL MANAGEMENT
IIFT - INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE
