The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates in order The reason being B.Sc and MBBS both are Graduation courses. For MBBS, just 12th class is enough. Why did you join B.Sc.

Minimum 50% of marks in 12th class is must for the students to join MBBS.

Also one more important thing is student should studied 12th class with Science group.

You can join MBBS course , but only on the basis of your (10+2) results if you had a Physics , Chemistry & Biology as a main subjects. You can not get admission in MBBS on the basis of B.sc result. Also your age should be between 17-25 years. You also need to qualify the entrance exam AIPMT.

After completion of MBBS , you can work in Hospitals , Clinic , Health Centres , Nursing Homes , Health Corporation etc. & can earn Rs.20,000 to Rs.35,000 per month.

Doing MBBS course is not enough. After MBBS, students should do MS in some specialized field.

Re: Can I join MBBS directly after B.Sc?

No, you can't join MBBS on the basis of your marks in BSc.

You have to appear in the Entrance Test AIPMT that is conducted by CBSE every year .

Eligibility:

1. Minimum qualification is 12th from medical stream with at least 50% marks from recognized board.
2. Age 17-25 years and relaxation is given to reserved categories.

So, if you cover the eligibility criteria then only you can appear in Entrance Test otherwise not.

No, to join MBBS course you have to qualify in entrance examination conducted by different institute.

MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and it is five year course after 10+2. The eligibility to appear for MBBS examination is :-
* Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.
* Candidate must have PCB as main paper in 10+2.

So, you are eligible to appear for entrance examination to get admission in MBBS course. There is nothing to do with marks of B.Sc.

MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgeon. Students who are aspiring to become doctors should complete MBBS.

The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates in order to get admission for this course is by completion of 12th class with Science stream.

One should apply for the respective Entrance Exam for MBBS course and qualify in it for getting admission. It is not so easy to get through the Entrance Exam and to get admission for MBBS as the competition is too high and the number of seats are limited in all the colleges.

Hence, you don't need to complete your B.Sc course in order to join MBBS course. I do not know why did you join B.Sc course if you are interested in doing MBBS. You should have enquired regarding the eligibility for MBBS itself well in advance while pursuing your 12th standard itself.

I do not which year of B.Sc course you are pursuing. If you have recently joined B.Sc course, please quit the course and carry out your preparation for the Entrance Exams for MBBS course.

Here are some of the popular Entrance Exams for MBBS course
AIPMT - All India Pre Medical Test
AIIMS MBBS - All India Institute of Medical Sciences
AFMC PMT - Armed Forces Medical College Pre Medical Test

In addition, there will be some state level Entrance Exams through which you can get admission in various colleges with in that state. Some of them are
AP EAMCET
TS EAMCET etc.

Whatever the Entrance Exam that you would like to apply, join in a coaching institute and get the coaching. Be thorough with all the concepts. Have strong preparation and extensive practice. Then you can easily crack the Entrance Exam.

Candidates are taking long term coaching for Medical Entrance Exams but still unable to get admission. Please make a note of it and carry out your preparation.

No, you can't join MBBS course directly through your B.Sc degree marks. To get admission in MBBS course, you need qualify in MBBS entrance exam like AIPMT, NEET, AIIMS entrance exam.

Candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks are eligible for MBBS entrance exam but your 12th standard subject should be Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

Your age should be above 17 years.

Re: Can I join MBBS directly after B.Sc?

The upper age limit for most of the exam for MBBS course is 25 years. So first thing is that you should be less than 25 years. Second thing is you must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2 along with English.

No, direct admission is not given on basis of marks in bachelor's degree in zoology.

You can get admission by cracking entrance exam like AIIMS, AIPMT, JIPMER etc.

Re: Can I join MBBS directly after B.Sc?

Yes, you can join Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery after completion of bachelor's degree in Zoology. In government medical colleges, admission is only given on basis of entrance exam result but in some private medical colleges, you can take admission on basis of 10+2 percentage of marks.

For MBBS course and its entrance exam, 10+2 with PCB subjects is mandatory. There are various entrance exams for MBBS whose age limit is 17-25 years.

1. AIIMS entrance exam.

2. AIPMT.

3. State Level Pre Medical Tests.

You can apply for multiple exams. Notification for AIPMT will be released soon.
