BASIC REQUIREMENT FOR ASTRONAUT CANDIDATE PROGRAMME


1.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT

HEIGHT - 62-72 inches

BP - 140/90

EYE SIGHT - 20/20 vision (corrective eye surgeries e.g lasik allowed)

2. QUALIFICATION

BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN ENGINEERING
BIOLOGICAL SCIENCE
PHYSICAL SCIENCE
COMPUTER SCIENCE
OR
MATHEMATICS

(you should join best universities or colleges in above field and for that you have to appear for various entrance examination conduct by the universities /organisation like AIEEE,IIT-JEE,etc)

3.EXPERIENCE

- 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE OF RELEVANT PROFESSION
OR
1000 hours of pilot-in-command in jet aircraft.

4.A candidate has to be US citizen.

Final selection is based on completeing the training including space stationsystems,robotics skills training learning russian and air craft fight readiness.

How should I become an Astronaut?

I want to become an astronaut n am the most intelligent person at school the problem is my parents cnt afford de school fee n am at public school n I really want to become an astronaut help me cz I must be in private school to knw more in maths n science
