UPSC which is Union Public Service Commission conducts NDA exam twice every year for recruitment of candidates into different defence wings like Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. Eligibility criteria: >>Candidates who have passed 10+2 or appearing for exam from a recognized board can apply for the exam. For Navy and Airforce, Mathematics and Physics is necessary in 10+2. >>For NDA I, 2016, candidate must be born between 02nd July, 1997 and 01st July, 2000. You are not eligible for NDA I exam in 2016 as you do not meet age criteria. |

Re: Can I appear in NDA 1 in 2016 if going to be 19 years old? UPSC conducts NDA entrance examination for recruitment of candidates in defence services. To appear in NDA I 2016 examination minimum required eligibility is candidate who have passed or pursuing 10+2 from recognised board and born after 01st July 1997 and before 02nd July 2000. So, you cannot appear for examination. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and it is conducted in UPSC twice every year. The eligibility to appear for examination is :- * Candidates must have passed 10+2 or pursuing from a recognised board. * Candidate's age must be between 16.5-19.5 years. But as according to NDA notifications for NDA I 2016 candidates born on or after 02nd July 1997 are eligible. So, you cannot appear in examination. Can I appear in NDA 1 in 2016 if going to be 19 years old? My birthday is on 11 march 1997 so now explain me that whether can i apply for nda 1 in 2016 or not? Please check my eligibility and confirm. |
