Re: Is BDS possible after 12th standard? you can do any of the courses but DONT DO BDS IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.bcoz there is so much oversaturation in dentistry,,,absolutely no jobs..a freshly pass out dentist has to work for free like assistants on some private clinics..n if very lucky he may get a 5-6000 per mnth job after 1 year..there are no govt jobs at all..not even a single job..n private clinic-u need lot f investment n chances f success very less..n sply girls..if u do bds ur parents wil get tired searching a groom fr u bcoz noone wants to marry a bds girl bcoz she is good fr nothing(unemployed fr life) |

Hi dear, BDS(bachelor of dental science) is possible after 12th exam only if you qualify the medical entrance examination such as CPMT, AIPMT or any other recognized college where there is study of BDS. It is just like MBBS, but it is necessary that your stream in class 10+2 is PCB(physics, chemistry and biology) . Age Limit Candidate applying for the BDS course should not have age less then 17 Thanks |

Re: Is BDS possible after 12th standard? Yes,you can pursue BDS course after 12th standard. But there are some other criteria to fulfill for the BDS course. You should have Biology,physic and chemistry subject in your 12th standard. And age should be less than 17 year. About BDS course: Duration of the course is 5 years |

Re: Is BDS possible after 12th standard? BDS Eligibility: Educational Qualification: *Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any discipline. *Candidate should have a minimum of 50% aggregate. For SC/ST, the minimum aggregate is 40%. Age Limit: Candidate applying should have attained minimum 21 years of age. So you can apply directly after 10+2 provided you fulfill the above conditions. |

Re: Is BDS possible after 12th standard? Hello Dear The basic educational qualification required for doing BDS is 12th class with Biology, Physics and chemistry. You have to appear for competitive exam through which you will get admission in BDS course. |

Absolutely 10+2 passout student with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as qualifying subjects would be eligible to take admission in BDS course or can appear in entrance exam for admission in BDS. PCB are mandatory subjects to be eligible for BDS course. PCB % required to be eligible for BDS may be required from 55% to 60% aggregate marks and may varied from collage to collage. |
