Re: Can I apply for NET having done MA from Psychology? Yes.You can apply for NET after completion of M.A. in Psychology. Eligibility for NET - Candidate must have passed master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with atleast 55%.Ph.D candidates get 5% relaxation. - Candidates who have cleared NET for JRF or SET will get exemption from NET. - Age Limit : 28 years for JRF and No age limit for Lecturership. Application Procedure - Visit the site : www.cbsenet.nic.in - Register online - Fill the application form - Upload the photograph & signature - Pay the application fees - Submit the application Exam Pattern Paper I - 50 questions have to be attempted from total 60 questions. - Total Marks : 100 Paper II - Total 50 compulsory questions from a selected subject by candidate. - Total Marks : 100 Paper III - Total 50 compulsory questions from a selected subject by candidate. - Total Marks : 100 Important Dates - Starts of Application : 01/11/2015 - Ends of Application : 01/12/2015 - NET Exam : 27/12/2015 |

Yes definitely you can apply for NET exam.NET stands for National Eligibility Test .It is conducts for the post of Teaching & Lecturership also. There is no specific age limit for lecturership,but for JRF exam maximum age limit is 28 years. Relaxation may be provided as per government rules & conditions to reserved categories. Exam Pattern:-Written exam -Paper I,Paper II & Paper III There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.UGC NET cut off are as follows. Paper I -For general category-40% For OBC category - 35% For SC category - 35% Paper II - For General Category- 40% For OBC Category - 35% For SC category - 35% Paper III- For General Category-50% For OBC category -40% For SC category -40% |
