Mechanical Engineering is evergreen engineering discipline with lots of job opportunities in private and public sector. In case of public sector, if you appear for GATE exam and secure good rank in GATE exam then you can apply for various PSUs like NTPC, BHEL, SAIL, GAIL, ONGC, IOCL etc. You can apply for various competitive entrance exams like Indian Engineering Services, Civil Services exam, Combined Defence Services etc. In case of private sector, you can apply for jobs in following private companies like core one - Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Yahama, Ford Motors, L&T, Siemens, TCS etc. |

Re: Companies offering jobs to Mechanical students? As you have completed your graduation hence you are eligible to appear in degree level exams such as SSC, IAS,RTO, etc. Here are some companies which give jobs to mechanical engineers: TATA Digital Design services Rolta Ved Engineers Jindal etc. |

There are so many companies which offers jobs to mechanical engineering candidates in private as well as public sector. *For public sector jobs, a candidate must apply for GATE exam as majority of PSUs like NTPC, BHEL, SAIL, GAIL, ONGC, IOCL etc take candidates on basis of GATE scorecard after interview. * In case of Private sector also, you need to clear stages like Aptitude round, technical interview and HR interview. Top private sector companies are Tata motors, Maruti Suzuki, AIS glasses, Ford Motors, Mahindra and Mahindra etc. |

There are abundant number of companies both public and private sector categories . --> PSU :- Public Service Undertakings . 1) BHEL 2) NPCTL 3) Powegrid 4) IOCL etc., These companies are PSU's . In order to secure job in PSU's -> 1) Candidate should qualified in GATE with AIR below 5000. 2) Should be selected in personal interview conducted by PSU's management . And one more great chance for mechanical engineers is they can appear in IES . perhaps, if they qualified their package will be around lakhs . Apart from these , there are lot of private MNC's . But if your gate score is fair then there is no doubt at all in getting job. |
