Civil Services examination is conducted for recruitment of candidates as I.A.S, I.P.S, I.F.S etc...

Yes, as you have passed bachelor in engineering course, you are eligible to appear for Civil Services examination.

There is no special examination for recruitment of I.A.S Officer, the designation is on the basis of performance in Civil Services examination. So, you can appear for CSE 2016 examination. To get more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

Yes, you are eligible for IAS

IAS stands for Indian administration service which is one of the part of civil services exams which is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility criteria for IAS

1).Candidate should be indian.
2).Candidate must hold a degree from Government recognized University,candidates who are in their final year or awaiting results are also eligible.

Age requirement for IAS:-
1).For General category candidates, upper age limit is 32 years .
2).For OBC candidates, upper age limit is 35 years
3).For SC/ST candidates, upper age limit is 42 years

Yes, you are eligible to appear for Civil Services examination. Civil Service examination is conducted by UPSC every year.

The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

* Candidate must have passed graduation from any recognised university.

* Candidate's age must be between 21-32 years with relaxation in age for reserved category.

There is no eligibility on aggregate of graduation and discipline of graduation, so you can appear for examination. The application form for 2016 examination will be available from April.

You have completed graduation degree so you are eligible for Civil Service exam. This exam doesn't require any percentage marks.

Those candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible for Civil Service exam.

Age Criteria:

For General: 21 to 32 years
For OBC: 21 to 35 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 37 years

No. of Attempts:

For General: 5
For OBC: 9
For SC/ST: No Restriction

Selection process for Civil Service exam:

1)Preliminary test
2)Mains exam
3)Personal interview

There are lot of civil services in india such as:-
1.Indian Foreign service.
2.Indian Revenue service.
3.Indian Postal service.
4.Indian Railway Traffic service.
5.Indian Audit and Accounts service.
6.Indian civil Accounts service.
7.Indian Forest service.
8.Indian Police service.
If you are graduate with more than 55% then you are eligible for these services.

The candidates should be a citizen Of India.
The Candidates should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognize university.
The final year students can also apply for this exams.
The age limit is 21 - 30 years.
There is a age relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates.

The no of attempt:
General - 4 times
Obc - 7 times
Sc/St - unlimited (Only up to age limit)

UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. UPSC conducts various examinations like IAS, IPS, IES, IFS, CDS, etc., every year for recruitment of candidates to different government departments of India. Eligibility criteria required to appear in UPSC examination is mentioned below :-

1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must have completed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a recognised university.

3. You must be in between 21-30 years old (for some examinations like CDS, the age limit is between 19-24 years). Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

4. You must be Physically fit as per physical standards mentioned in the UPSC examination notification.
