Re: How to get admission in Aeronautical Engg. course in HITS,Chennai? hello...this is a common misconception that aeronautical engineering is undertaken in HITS ,Chennai.Hindustan institute of technology and science has a separate campus only for aeronautical engineering in Banglore where admissions are done on the basis of 12th marks. In chennai,every course is other than aeronautical.you can get admission there either by writing Tamilnadu common entrance test or by 12th marks. All the best. |

Warm Greeting for the day; You have to appear in the entrance exam conducted by Anna University know as TANCET (Tamilnadu Common Entrance Test) and you will have to take good percentile than only you can able to grab Aeronautical Engineering. Else if you fail to crack good percentile than there is a option of Management seat you can get the admission anyways but you will have to pay hefty amount according to the HITS authorities. As far as this college is concern this is one of the best in chennai for Aeronautical engineering in a private university category.
