Re: Books for GK and English for Canarank Bank Clerical exam

Dear friend
The subjects GK and English are for testing general awareness and your grammatical command on english language.
So, no one can recommend you a book to prepare them directly.
Only some suggestion can be given and that is sufficient if you follow.
General Knowledge:
Read daily newpaper (National daily like TOI,The Hindu etc) and some magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan. These magazines generally publish question paper of recent examination. Practice them well.
If you got friends preparing for the same then a daily group discussion and knowledge sharing on current affairs as well as other history and geographical Gk would be very helpful.
You can purchase some GK book for reference. Publishers: Upkar,Kiran,Arihant etc.

English:
This section consist of question based on grammatical approach and little bit word power.
Grammar like: Preposition, Article, Tense, Sentence verb agreement, sentence pattern and Common errors etc are most common topics.
You can refer British English Grammar by A.K.Singh student friends publication for grammar part. A good practice on grammar is need. So keep brushing up the rules by solving exercises and monitor your performance.
I will help you very much. The most important thing is that be confident. You will make it.
Thank You
Good Luck
