HPPSC stands for Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission and the examination is conducted by state education board for recruitment of candidates as Officer within state. There is no limitations on number of attempt to appear for examination as candidate passed graduation degree from any recognised university are eligible to appear for examination. But, there is limitation on age as maximum age limit to appear for examination is 21-35 years with relaxation in age for reserved category. Re: How many times one can attempt HPPSC examination? HPPSC - Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. ● There is no limit on the number of attempts in state service examinations. So, the same rule is in HPSSC. It means you can attempt HPSSC without any limit. You must have graduate/master degree in relevant field from any recognized university. Selection of candidate will be done in 3 successive stages: Stage – I: Preliminary Examination Stage – II: Main Written Examination Stage – III: Personal Interview. Maximum number of attempts given to general category are 6 and unlimited number of attempts given to SC and ST students.7 number of attempts given to OBC category students. Age limit should be 21 to 32 years and relaxation in upper age limit is of 5 years to SC and ST, 3 years to OBC and 10 years to physically handicapped. |

Re: How many times one can attempt HPPSC examination? Candidates are allowed for maximum 6 attempts, if they are between the age of 21 to 32 years. On the other hand candidates belong to scheduled caste and Scheduled tribe have no limit on number of attempts. And also eligible to appear in the exam till 35 years of age. Candidates belonging to OBC have limit upto 7 attempts. |
