Re: MBA holder can directly apply for IPCC 2016?

Yes, you can directly apply for IPCC after having MBA degree.

One can register for CA-IPCC directly on the condition they have passed graduation degree. The eligibility criteria for the graduates to write CA-IPCC directly is 55% in aggregate for a Commerce Graduate and 60% in aggregate for a Non-Commerce Graduate.

IPCC stands for the Integrated Professional Competence Course.

It is the second stage of Chartered Accountancy. There are three stages in Chartered Accountancy course . They are :

*Foundation course or CPT

*Intermediate course or IPCC, and

*Final Course.

Re: MBA holder can directly apply for IPCC 2016?

Yes, you are eligible to appear for IPCC directly after master degree in Business Administration.

The required eligibility to get admission in course is candidate must have passed graduation from any recognised university. The required aggregate for commerce stream is 55% where as for non-commerce stream candidates requires minimum 60%.

So, you can appear for examination and after qualifying in examination eligible for training and eligible for admission in CA course.

Re: MBA holder can directly apply for IPCC 2016?

IPCC is the Integrated Professional competency examination which is conducted twice the year and in order to become a charted accountant one has to clear the examinations such as
  1. CPT (Common Proficiency Test)
  2. Integrated Professional Competence Examination
  3. Finale examination

These are the three levels of examinations which has to be cleared in order to become a charted accountant

IPC Course is eligible after the completion of the CPT examination or it can be done after the completion of the Graduation or Post graduation in the commerce related subject with at least 55% of the marks or the non commerce graduates can also appear but should have scored at least 60% of the marks in the Graduation or post graduation level course

This examination is conducted twice a year and as you have done your MBA course you are eligible for appearing for the IPCC examination if you are from the accounts and commerce back ground you should have scored at least 55% of the marks in your degree.

MBA stands for Master of Business Administration.

*CA is Chartered Accountancy course. Graduates and Post graduates those who have scored 55% or more marks in commerce stream or 60% in non commerce stream are directly eligible for IPCC stage of Chartered Accountancy.

*If you satisfy percentage criteria then you can apply for direct IPCC otherwise, you will have to first appear for Common Proficiency Test and then move to further stages.
