Re: Can a B.Tech 3rd year student sit in PSU exam? Hi dear, No, you can not apply for PSU exams which are conducted for engineering graduates. You can apply for the exams only during your final year of B.Tech. or after completion of B.Tech. So you should apply for the PSU exams next year. Thanks |

Re: Can a B.Tech 3rd year student sit in PSU exam? Eligibility Criteria for PSU is a candidate should be in final year of his engineering or he should have completed the engineering. For final-year students, the final result of 8th semester and mark-sheets must be presented at the time of interview. Minimum cut-off percentage of B.Tech varies for different PSUs General Category:-60%-70%; Reserved Category:-50%-60%. |

Re: Can a B.Tech 3rd year student sit in PSU exam? No, you are not eligible to sit for PSU exam. In order to sit for PSU exams, one should have completed his engineering course or he should have appeared for the final year of engineering course. As you are still in the 3 rd year of engineering, you are not eligible. You will be eligible from the next year because you are going for the final year of your engineering course. |

Hello Simmi Dear If you want to give PSU exam of your field like BHEL, ISRO etc then you are not eligible for giving exam of these organization because the basic qualification asked in these exam is a BE graduate or student in his final year of degree, but if you want to give exam of other field like Bank Clerk then you are eligible for giving exam. so Please always check the eligibility of exam it differs from exam to exam. |

Re: Can a B.Tech 3rd year student sit in PSU exam? Eligibility criteria is depends from company to company. Upto now i didn't seen any organization asking 3rd year students to appear exam. Most of the notification were only for completed/final year graduate students. So,you are not eligible to appear for any PSU exam in 3rd year. You can appear PSU exam.when you are in final year. |

Re: Can a B.Tech 3rd year student sit in PSU exam? Dear friend, I am sorry to say that you can not appear in PSU exam as you are in 3rd year of B.tech. Only 4th year student can appear in any exam. So wait for some more time. For University Entry Scheme (USE) ; Pre final year student can apply. Through UES candidates are selected as an officer in the Army. The age of candidates for UES should be 18-28 years. All the best........................ |

You need to Go for One More year and maintain your Aggregate 66 % or above till Final year for making yourself Eligible for PSU's. Good Luck. |
