Hai,

The acronym for IAS is Indian Administrative Service.

IAS exam is conducted by the UPSC(University Public Service Commission) once in a year.


Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should be complete graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.

Final year graduation students are also eligible

Percentage is not required for this examination.

Applicant must be a citizen of India.

Age criteria:-

The candidate should be in between 21 years to 30 years,

3years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates,

5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.


Selection steps:-

Preliminary exam,

Mains exam.,

Personal Interview.

Number of attempts:-

4 times for General candidates,

7 times for OBC candidates,

No limit for SC/ST candidates.

If you are Aspiring to Become an IAS officer then you should have to apply for Civil Service Examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in year.....


Eligibility and Criteria:


♫♫ A candidate must have completed their Graduation degree in any stream in any Discipline from Recognized Universities are eligible for Indian Administrative Service exam....

♫♫ Final years student who are waiting for their final result can also apply for it. There is no percentage criteria.....

♫♫ General Age Limit is 21-30 years. but there is relaxation is available for reserved category. for OBC category : up to 33 years. for SC/ST category : up to 35 years....

♫♫ There are only 4 attempts for General category for OBC 7 attempt limit and for SC/ST no attempt limit.....

♫♫ You should be of Indian origin...


Exam Pattern:


♫♫ The exam have three stages:
  1. Prelim Exam
  2. Main Exam
  3. Personal Interview
