The acronym for IAS is Indian Administrative Service. IAS exam is conducted by the UPSC(University Public Service Commission) once in a year. Eligibility criteria:- Candidate should be complete graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. Final year graduation students are also eligible Percentage is not required for this examination. Applicant must be a citizen of India. Age criteria:- The candidate should be in between 21 years to 30 years, 3years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Selection steps:- Preliminary exam, Mains exam., Personal Interview. Number of attempts:- 4 times for General candidates, 7 times for OBC candidates, No limit for SC/ST candidates. Dear Friend,  IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service If you are Aspiring to Become an IAS officer then you should have to apply for Civil Service Examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in year.....
