RTO stands for Regional Transport Officer.

It has three posts .

Clerical Post

Sub Assistant Engineer Post

Judicial Service Post

Eligibility Criteria:- For Clerical Post

You should have passed 12th in any discipline from a recognized board.

Age limit:- Age should be in between 18 to 35 years.

For Sub Assistant Post:- You should have a bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil,electronics,mechanical).

Age should be in between 23 to 32 years.

For Judicial Post:- You should have a bachelor's degree in Law.

Age should be in between 23 to 34 years.

Exam Stages:- Preliminary examination ,Mains examination

Selection Procedure:- Written exam & Interview.

By appearing in RTO Officer Exam, you can either become Sub Assistant Engineer or appointed on a Clerkship post.

Judicial Service posts are also filled through RTO Exam.

Recruitment of candidates at various posts is based on these two stages:
  • Written Test
  • Interview

The Written Test concludes following sections:
  • English Grammar
  • General Knowldege
  • Reasoning
  • General English
  • General State Language
  • General Studies
  • Optional Subject (Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering)

If you have completed below given studies then you are eligible for RTO exam.

For Judicial posts:

Graduation in law i.e.LLB
Age should be in between 21 to 32 years.

For assistant engineer post:

B.Tech or B.E in any stream.
Age should be in between 21 to 30 years.

For clerk post:

12th passed with minimum 60% marks.
Age should be in between 21 to 34 years.

Academic qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Law .

Age limit : 23 years to 34 years.
