Re: Timing schedule of SCRA exam? SCRA exam is conducted every year by the UPSC. To apply for this examination a candidate should be 10+2 pass any discipline with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics & Chemistry as subjects of the Examination in 1st or IInd Division. Those appeared in the 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply for the SCRA examination. To apply for the SCRA examination candidate age should be between 17 - 21 years. The important dates for the SCRA 2011 is mentioned below. These are the tentative dates and mat be changed. Date of notification 19.03.2011 Last date for application 18.04.2011 Date of exam 31.07.2011 |

Re: Timing schedule of SCRA exam? The SCRA or the Special Class Railway Apprentices Exam is conducted by the UPSC. The timing of the examination will be given on your hall ticket. The timings of the examination you can get in your hall ticket. here i am providing the important dates regarding the exam -Closing date of online registration : 25-04-2011 till 11:59 PM -Last date for the receipt of offline application forms : 25-04-2011 ( for far flung areas it is 02-05-2011) - Date of written test : 31-07-2011. |

Part I : SCRA Written examination 2011 carrying a maximum of 600 marks in the subjects as shown below. SPECIAL CLASS RAILWAY APPRENTICES' EXAMINATION, 2011 Eligibility Criteria Age Limits : (a) A candidate must have attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21 years on 1st August, 2011. (b) The upper age limit is relaxable to category holders. Educational Qualifications : For admission to the examination a candidate– (a) must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. Re: Timing schedule of SCRA exam? The exam follows the plan mentioned below. Part I is a written exam with a total of 600 marks. Part II is a personality test of 200 marks. The candidates who qualify the written exam are called for the interview. The subjects of Part I are provided below:- Paper I is a General Ability Test which include English, General Knowledge and Psychological Test. Paper II is a test of Physics and Chemistry. Paper III is Mathematics. The duration of all the papers is 2 hours and the maximum marks carried by each of the exam are 600. The questions will be all multiple choice types and will be set in English only. The questions will be of the Intermediate Standard. |
