Re: Minimum Percentage required in B.Tech to get a job in IBM? hello dear minimum marks required to join is IBM is 60% throughout for engineering post. you should have 60% marks not only in B.Tech but also in each examination like in 10 and 10+2 level examination. when you are applying for the job then you should not have any backlog. if you have one backlog in any semester and you cleared in next semester and after that if you apply for job in IBM then there is no problem. but if you have backlog when you are applying for job then you will not be eligible. but you should not have more than one backlog in semester and you ahve to clear it in next year positively. best wishes... thank you |

So these are the top companies which recruit the best professionals from our country. Now the Basic Requirement which the MNC's ask for is : You should be a minimum graduate from a recognized university with a minimum 60% aggregate if you are from any technical line like Medical or Engineering. Otherwise 50% is the requirement. If you have even lower percentage, I am really sorry to say that you will have to face tough times ahead. You can try for the IAS, IPS, Civil Service exams. There is you do well in the entrance exams, then you might get a good job. goodluck |

Dear friend, If you are interested in IBM then you must fulfill these criteria Here is the details of IBM : 1.Academic qualification : You must score minimum 65% throughout your academic career. 2.Backlog criteria : You must not have any pending backlog while appearing. 3.Study gap limitation : You should not have more than 2 years of study gap. The criteria is given below:- 1)Candidate must be score at least 70% in through out career. 2)Pending Backlog are not allowed. 3)Maximum 1 year gap are allowed. The minimum criteria for selection is 75% percent and above in all major examinations, i.e, 10th, 12th, and B.Tech graduation. This does not mean that one below this can't get in IBM. Sometimes, but rarely, they leverage the policy to take in outstanding candidates. Given, that you have only around 60%marks in B.Tech, you have very slim chances of getting in IBM. |

If you are looking for joining well reputed companies like IBM then make sure not to have any supplementary papers or backlog, as it will be a disqualification. Try to clear the paper the coming semester and then attend the interview. |
