A candidate should have completed their graduation with atleast 50% from Recognized Universities
Citizenship of INDIA.

Age limite:

Indian Military Academy : 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy : 19-23 Years
Naval Academy : 19-22 Years
Officers’ Training Academy :19-25 Years.

C.D.S.(II) examination is conducted by U.P.S.C.
By applying in C.D.S. candidates can able to join Indian defense service.

Eligibility Criteria:-

The notification for CDS(II) will come in April.

For CDS(I)-2011
Woman candidate should have Date of Birth not before 2nd January 1987.
Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless
divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are
eligible.
Woman candidate can apply only for Officers Training Academy(OTA).

For CDS(II) 2011 the required Date of Birth would be after 2nd July 1987.

So you can't apply for CDS(II)2011.

yes, you are eligible.

Age eligibility for Prelims ~ 21-30 yrs as on 01/08/2011.
All the candidates born on/after 01/07/1981 only are eligible for the UPSC PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS...
And no age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC classes...

CDS- Combine Defence Service examination.

The exam is conducted by UPSC and it is done twice in a year.

The education criteria for CDS exam is mentioned below:

For Military and Officers training academy:

A degree from a recognized university is needed.

For Indian Naval Academy:

A degree in the field of engineering is needed.

For Air force academy:

A degree from a recognized university with physics and maths at 10 and 12 level or a B.E degree is needed.

The CDS or the Combined Defence Services Exam is conducted by the UPSC twice every year.

The minimum eligibility to appear for the exam is as follows:

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must be a graduate in any field from a recognized university.
Students in the final year of graduation can also apply.

Eligibility criteria for CDS exam:

This Eligibility criteria is same for CDS-I and CDS-II.

Indian Military Academy (IMA)

Candidates desirous to appear for Indian Military Academy must have completed 19 years of age. Candidates of more than 24 years of age are not eligible.
In terms of education, candidates having a degree from a recognized university or equivalent are eligible to apply.

Naval Academy

Aspirants wishing to join Naval Academy must possess a Bachelor of Science (B Sc) degree with Physics & Mathematics or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering i.e. Bachelor of Engineering (BE).
Candidates must have completed 19 years of age at the time of applying for the academy. Candidates above 22 years are not eligible for the Naval Academy.

Air Force Academy

Candidates must have reached the age of 19 years and must not have crossed 23 years of age.
The job seeker must have either Bachelor of Science (B Sc) degree with Physics & Mathematics or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering i.e. Bachelor of Engineering (BE).

Officers' Training Academy (OTA)

Age Limits For CDS Examination -

The Age eligiblity criteria are different for different posts.

For IMA-Unmarried male candidates - You Are Not born earlier than 2nd January, 1988 and not later than 1st January, 1993.

Indian Naval Academy-Unmarried male candidates - You are not born earlier than 2nd January, 1990 and not later than 1st January, 1993.

For Air Force Academy-Unmarried male candidates - You are not born earlier than 2nd January, 1989 and not later than 1st January, 1993.

You cant apply for the CDS examI 2011.the last date is already over for this exam. Sorry for this.

you can check for the eligibility for CDS II 2011,in which the notification is not yet notified in the www.upsc.gov.in.

They will notify the age limit here.
