Yes, it is compulsory to appear in NEET examination which will be conducted again from 2016 by CBSE to get admission in medical course. The examination is conducted for admission in MBBS, BDS and other courses in Central government, State government and private institutions. So, if you want to get admission in course you can appear for examination. So, it is great advantage to appear and qualify in examination. |

NEET stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test and it is a common medical entrance examination held by CBSE for admission in MBBS/BDS course in any government colleges of India. So one looking to have career in medical field must take up NEET for their admission in good colleges to enjoy quality and top education. For appearing in the same examination one must have the qualifications mentioned here under :- You must be a citizen of India with your age lying within 17 years to 25 years till the 31st December of that year in which you are appearing in the same examination. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the service requirement norms. You must have completed your 12th with PCB group along with English as your main subjects with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board.
