For Medical College Admission , You should have passed (10+2) with Physics , Chemistry and Biology as a main subjects. You also require to appear entrance exam AIPMT. Age Limit to apply for medical courses is 17 to 25 years. Admission will be made on the basis of merit score obtained in (10+2) cum entrance exam AIPMT.

Medical Courses
- BAMS
- BDS
- BHMS
- MBBS

AIPMT Exam Pattern
- Total Questions : 180
Physics : 45 Questions
Chemistry : 45 Questions
Botany : 45 Questions
Zoology : 45 Questions
- Total Marks : 720
- Each question will carry 4 marks.
- Negative marking system of 1 mark for each wrong answer.

AIPMT Important Dates
- Starting of Online Application : 15/12/2015
- Last Date of Application : 08/01/2016
- Available Admit cards : 07/04/2016
- AIPMT Exam Date : 01/05/2016
- Result Declaration : 05/06/2016

The candidate who is interested to get admission in Medical College after completion of 12th must have passed 12th with medical stream from recognised board with minimum 50% marks and then child has to qualify the medical entrance exam known as All India Pre Medical Entrance Test. If you will be able to qualify the entrance exam then you will have to appear in the counselling to get admission in college as per your rank.

The eligibility criteria required to get admission in Medical Colleges is clearly mentioned below :-

1. You must have completed 12th standard or Higher Secondary course with Biology (Botany and Zoology), Physics, Chemistry and English subjects from a recognised board.

2. You must have to appear in Medical entrance examinations like NEET, AIPMT, AIIMS, EAMCET, etc.,. which is conducted by central or state government.

If you qualify the examination, you will be called for counselling proess according to your rank, the counselling process usually includes certificate verification and enrolment of options (colleges), according to your rank, the counselling committe will allot you a seat in a particular medical college.

The admission in medical colleges are offered in undergraduate, post graduate and higher courses.

To get admission in undergraduate courses such as MBBS, BHMS, BDS etc you have to appear and qualify in entrance examination conducted by state education board , central education board or institute itself.

The common required qualification to pursue course is candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised board with PCB as main paper.

What is the eligibility criteria required to get admission in medical colleges? It will be helpful if you can answer me on this. Can you please let me know how much mark we need to score in the entrance exam to get the seat as well?
